Write to Heal Session
We were not sure why we chose London Bridge Hotel as a meeting place for today’s Write to Heal- Goal setting and Mind Conditioning workshop.
All we knew, was that it had to be held there. We were unaware that this Miss S , one of our new delegates tried to commit suicide nearly six years ago at this very bridge. At the time, a stranger managed to pull her back, as she had one leg over the wall.
Today was her celebration day. She was able to confront her past. Facing her past meant she was able to learn from her failures, fears and bottled-up emotions.
Write to Heal began in 2015, and since then, we’ve delivered over 18 powerful sessions. Every single workshop brings a unique kind of buzz, a deep, soul-tingling joy that says: “ They did it, We did it. Transformation happened here.” Even if just three people in the room experience a breakthrough, we know we’ve fulfilled our purpose. We know we’ve been used as vessels to support someone’s healing journey.
This is more than writing. It’s freedom on the page. It’s expression that was once buried. It’s emotion finally given a voice.
Write to Heal is about creating a safe space where words unlock pain, peace and purpose.
It’s why we show up. It’s why we keep going, because through every pen stroke, something shifts and healing begins.
